PGH Requests Assistance in Locating Family for 77-Year-Old Patient

PGH is calling for help to find the relatives of a 77-year-old patient with no family or relatives assisting him. 

The Medical Social Service of the University of the Philippines Manila–Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH) is seeking help from the public to locate the relatives or acquaintances of a 77-year-old patient, Ignacio Barsaba Gahilan, who is currently admitted at the hospital’s Emergency Room in Taft Avenue, Manila. 

According to PGH, Gahilan hails from Ormoc, Leyte, and had been living in Luneta for the past 13 years, where he earned a living by selling goods. He reportedly moved to Manila after the devastation caused by Typhoon Yolanda, which claimed the lives of his wife and two children.
